A quick report for the far north!
PastorServe has been helping a church in the suburbs north of Anchorage to serve their pastor. Men from our team have been visiting and preaching for Pastor Rud. My turn came over the Memorial Day weekend. This is the picture I sent to some friends and family showing our Memorial Day picnic!

We visited Alaska last summer and the clouds obscured Denali ... although the sunset at 1:30 am was quite impressive! I am glad you had the chance enjoy such a magnificent view of what is undoubtedly a jewel of creation.
For Memorial Day this year, Debi and I went to Arkansas and hiked some of the Ozark "ranges." Being the first real hike of the year, our 1,000 ft vertical climb out of Hemmed-in-Hollow seemed like Mt. McKinley at times! But it is getting me ready for the July hike in Colorado. I am glad you will be bringing your teaching and leadership to that creative sanctuary as well!
